We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our East Hampton store. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, controlling expenses, and assisting in management of all areas of the store as needed. Assistant Sales Managers are also responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the store. An Assistant Sales Manager is a role model and leader and must solve problems, make informed decisions and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to achieve maximum results

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of the most qualified applicants to meet the store's needs
  • Assist in supervision, staffing and scheduling of the workforce with particular emphasis in sales

We are looking for a Facilities Manager who will have ownership of maintenance, repairs, equipment maintenance and safety for Dylan’s Candy Bar stores and the corporate office. The incumbent is also responsible for helping to ensure that all stores are properly maintained and OSHA issues are avoided by assisting in correcting issues reported by store management or other business partners.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees all facility operations at the retail stores and corporate office
  • Thorough working knowledge of processing information and merchandise via PC and POS register systems
  • Ensures compliance with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations
  • Direct and administer all vendor contracts and supplies
  • Oversees budget, including labor costs and supply costs
  • Tours and inspects the facility, coordinating total quality management requirements
  • Orders, maintains, and uses capital equipment efficiently
  • Actively engage in workplace activities to support day-to-day maintenance of the stores
  • Ability to access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching and kneeling
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds at any given time with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Supervise and administer all maintenance employees to ensure maximum performance and compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Maintains staffing and scheduling requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree (and/or requisite industry and management experience)

  • Monitors and analyzes the café budget
