Michael Fink
Michael Fink is dean of the School of Fashion at the Savannah College of Art and Design and former vice president and women’s fashion director at Saks Fifth Avenue. At SCAD, he oversees one of the largest and most comprehensive fashion programs in the country, with degrees programs in accessory design, fashion design and fashion marketing and management. He also oversees the college's masters degree program in luxury and fashion management, a ground-breaking study unique among graduate business degrees. At Saks, Fink was responsible for forecasting women’s seasonal trends as well as analyzing and supporting the women’s fashion and women’s accessories selection for Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide. A frequent fashion commentator on “Full Frontal Fashion,” he has also appeared on “The Today Show,” CNN and as a fashion adviser on “The Apprentice.” Fink has more than 20 years of specialty retail experience and has held buying positions at Saks Fifth Avenue, I Magnin and Bergdorf Goodman. Prior to his new appointment at SCAD, Fink served on the advisory board for the SCAD School of Design. He is a member of the New York Couture Council Advisory Committee, a member of Fashion Group International and is a voting member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
