IMPORTANT: SUMMER SHIPPING ADJUSTED SCHEDULE
We love hitting the beach and getting some rays, but the last thing we want is for your candy to melt!
So, with summer now here, we appreciate your understanding that we’ve implemented an adjusted seasonal shipping schedule. YES, we always take special care to pack your heat sensitive candy with insulation and ice packs, but still, the heat is on!
To minimize the amount of time your candy spends in transit, for the season:
- Standard Delivery (Ground Shipped) orders will only ship out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
- Two Day Delivery orders must be placed by Wednesday, 1pm EST. If orders are placed after Wednesday 1pm EST, the order will not ship until the following Monday.
- Overnight Delivery orders must be placed by Thursday, 1pm EST. If orders are placed after Thursday, 1pm EST, the order will not ship until the following Monday.
This adjusted shipping schedule takes the place of our regular schedule for the season. We again thank you for your understanding!

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
Dylan’s Candy Bar ships year-round via UPS, with several options:
- With our Standard Delivery option, orders are processed within 2 business days and shipped Monday through Friday. Orders usually arrive within 4-7 business days to most US locations (please see Shipping Methods section for rules and exceptions).
- Need it fast? For expedited orders, we offer Two Day and Overnight shipping, for delivery Monday through Friday (please see Shipping Methods section for rules and exceptions).
- Expedited orders placed by 1pm EST during weekdays are processed and shipped the same day, provided all ordered products are in stock.
- Expedited orders placed after 1pm EST or on weekends are processed and shipped the next business day, provided all ordered products are in stock.
- Saturday Delivery is also available, per special request. Please contact a Customer Service representative at 1-866-939-5267 or email us at customerservice@dylanscandybar.com, for us to assist you with Saturday Delivery.

Don’t Let It Melt! Warm Weather Shipping
- We of course LOVE chocolate at Dylan’s Candy Bar, however as you know, chocolate is extremely heat sensitive. The less time your chocolate is in transit, the better!
- Though we do take great care in packing our chocolate with insulation and ice packs -- and utilize additional ice packs during summer months -- we strongly recommend that when ordering chocolate during warmer times of year, to select Two Day or Overnight shipping. While this will greater lower the chances of your chocolate melting, we still cannot guarantee chocolate will always arrive unmelted, and thank you for your understanding!
- We generally define the “warmer months” as May through September, or any time of year when the weather is warm where your order is being shipped.
- On a case-by-case basis and when applicable, a Customer Service representative may contact you should your chocolate order seem particularly susceptible to melting. At which time, your best shipping options will be discussed. Please be ensured that no additional shipping rate charges will be applied to your order or credit card without your approval.
Please also keep in mind…
- If you need your order by a certain date, we recommend you contact Customer Service before placing your order so we can advise on the most appropriate delivery option. We cannot issue refunds for orders not delivered by a specific date, unless you choose an expedited shipping method, such as Two Day or Overnight delivery.
- Please be advised, regardless of whichever shipping method you utilize, we cannot guarantee the exact time of day when your order will be delivered, and will not issue refunds for orders not delivered by a specific time.
- Please note that we ship via UPS, and that UPS does not count Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays as delivery traveling days.
- Standard Delivery orders typically do not ship out the same day they are placed, however they usually do ship out the next business day. Rest assured, we work hard to get your candy out the door as soon as we can!
- As with anything, mistakes do occasionally happen. Please check your order within 24 hours of receipt, and if there is a mistake, please contact us immediately so we can correct it. Any mistakes not reported after 24 hours of receipt are not valid. That being said, we pride ourselves on taking special care that your order is accurately filled!
Where’s it going?
- Though we know it’s very basic, please be extra careful to provide us with an accurate shipping address…we want our candy to find you! Please note that we cannot be responsible for an order shipped to an incorrect address, due to an incorrect address entered by the customer at checkout. We thank you for your understanding.
- When shipping to a hotel, hospital or office building, please be sure to include the complete shipping address with floor, suite, apt, etc., and make necessary arrangements with the delivery locations to ensure delivery to the recipient’s room. Dylan’s Candy Bar is not responsible for packages misdirected after delivery.
In case something is sold out...
- To keep our candy fresh and yummy, we keep a limited inventory of what you see on the site, and of course replenish our inventory often. However due to this process, occasionally items do sell out, and we may not have certain items available for your order.
- In this case, we will contact you by phone and / or email you immediately, to advise you on when the product will become available again, or if we have a recommended substitute product. If we don’t receive a response from you within 5 business days and the product remains unavailable, all remaining available items in your order will be shipped.
Shipping Surcharges
- Select products are subject to shipping surcharges due to size, weight and / or special handling required and will be noted as such on the specific product’s page. The surcharge, if applicable, will appear in the shopping cart summary as “Additional Shipping Surcharges,” or similar.
SHIPPING METHODS
Standard Delivery
- Orders are shipped within 2 business days of when the order was placed, pending credit card authorization and verification, and provided all ordered products are in stock.
- We ship Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, and most orders will arrive within 4-7 business days.

Two Day Delivery
- Orders are shipped the same day if placed by 1pm EST, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, pending credit card authorization and verification, and will arrive in two business days, provided all ordered products are in stock.
- Orders placed on Friday by 1pm will be delivered on the following Tuesday.
- Examples:
- If you placed a Two Day order on Monday by 1pm EST, your order will ship same day, and will be delivered on Wednesday.
- If you placed a Two Day order on Thursday by 1pm EST, your order will ship same day for delivery two business days later (delivery on Monday).
- If you placed a Two Day order on Friday after 1pm your order will not ship until Monday, for delivery on Wednesday.

Overnight Delivery
- Orders are shipped the same day if placed by 1pm EST, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, pending credit card authorization and verification, and will ship out overnight to arrive the next business day, provided all ordered products are in stock.
- Orders placed on Friday by 1pm will be delivered the following Monday.
- Examples:
- If you placed an Overnight order on Monday by 1pm EST, your order will ship same day, and will be delivered on Tuesday.
- If you placed an Overnight order on Friday after 1pm, your order will not ship until Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

Saturday Delivery

- Orders for Saturday Delivery must be made before 1pm EST on Friday, excluding holidays.
- Saturday Delivery is available for most, but not all areas. We apology in advance for the inconvenience, if Saturday Delivery is not available in your area.

Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and Remote Rural Deliveries
- Please allow 3 additional days for Standard Delivery.
- Express deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, Rural Routes and remote locations usually arrive within 4-5 business days after the ship date.
- For Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories, $15 is added to our Standard, Two Day and Overnight delivery rates.
- Unfortunately, we cannot process Saturday Deliveries to these locations.
P.O., APO And FPO Boxes
- We do allow standard delivery to P.O., APO and FPO Boxes, but we cannot be held responsible for shipments that have not been picked up or accepted by the customer and/or damaged at the P.O., APO or FPO Box facility. In order to make sure your order is fresh and in its best possible condition, we recommend that you provide us with a physical street address where your order can be delivered.
- Express shipments (Two Day, Overnight and Saturday Delivery) are not available for P.O. Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
- Signature confirmation is not available for P.O. Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
International Orders
- Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally at this time.
For orders exceeding $1000, Corporate Gifts, Wholesale and Volume Orders

EXCHANGES
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate exchanges at this time. If you have found another product on our site that you would prefer over your original purchase, please return your original order and place your new order separately. We will notify you once your return is processed and you are refunded. Please be aware that Dylan’s Candy Bar does not cover the cost of return postage.
RETURNS
If there is a problem with your order we will gladly accept returns of non-edible unopened products within 30 days of receipt, with the following exceptions and conditions:- We cannot accept returns of bulk candy, personalized products or custom orders.
- For simple health reasons we cannot accept any candy for a refund, unless it had been damaged in transit. We thank you in advance for understanding this policy.
- However, we do recognize that there are exceptions to every rule and certain situations may arise where a refund is reasonable. We do want our customers to be completely satisfied. If you have a question regarding a return, please give us a call at 1-866-939-5267 to see how we can help you.
- All non-edible unopened returns require authorization by one of our Customer Service representatives. Unauthorized returns will be refused. All order discrepancy claims must be made within the 30 days of delivery of goods.

- Apparel must have the original tags still attached and in unworn condition.
- Please indicate the product name, item number and reason for your return. Please note, original order shipping costs are not refundable or transferable.
- Please send the return package to us at the address below:
- Customers are responsible for the shipping costs on all returns. Please use a responsible carrier for your return, one that can provide you with a tracking number. Dylan's Candy Bar is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
- For your convenience, online purchases may be returned to any Dylan's Candy Bar store for immediate credit. Proof of purchase (order confirmation, packing slip or receipt) is required for reimbursement of the full purchase, minus shipping.
- We will refund the product purchase amount in the manner in which you paid.
- Please allow a minimum of 21 days to receive and process your refund.
- Please note that Dylan’s Candy Bar is not responsible for:
- Gift products and / or items delivered to incorrect addresses, due to the sender providing incorrect addresses.
- Product quality problems and / or damages caused by improper handling by the recipient.

ADDRESS CORRECTIONS and DELIVERY INTERCEPTS & REFUSALS
- Customer will be charged $15 for delivery intercepts and / or address corrections, which reflect UPS charges. To avoid these types of situations, please make sure that you double check the address you enter during checkout, to ensure it is correct. If you change your mind about an order that has already been shipped, you will be required to pay the intercept fee in order to be refunded. If you simply refuse the shipment and it is sent back to our warehouse, you will not be refunded for your order.
- If your package was sent back to us from UPS, we will investigate the reason with UPS and possibly refund for the product costs minus a 20% restocking fee. This will be practiced on a case-by-case basis, and we appreciate your understanding.
