SHIPPING & HANDLING

How do you ship chocolate and candy during warm months? 

From May through September, we carefully package our confections with insulation and ice packs to maintain freshness. Kindly note that during these months, UPS 2nd Day and UPS Ground orders only ship Monday through Wednesday. UPS Next Day orders ship Monday through Thursday. To ensure product freshness, we do not ship on Fridays. 

During times of exceptionally hot weather, we recommend expedited shipping to reduce the time products will spend in a warehouse, vehicle, or in transit.

What do I do if my product arrives melted?

At Dylan’s Candy Bar, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Our products are packaged with great care in order to withstand heat and humidity, but we understand some products are still susceptible to melting in inclement weather.

If you received melted product, please send a photo to our Customer Service Team at CustomerService@DylansCandyBar.com or Live Chat us on DylansCandyBar.com within 24 hours of UPS delivering the package. We will be happy to assist you in receiving a replacement or an E-Gift Card for future purchase. 

Do orders with multiple products always ship together?

Custom-made items including Candy Cakes, BashCakes®, Cotton Candy Cakes, and our fudge ship separately and directly from our vendors. Our larger items may also ship separately. All other orders with multiple products will ship together.

How will I know when my order ships? 

We will send you an email when your order has been processed and your sweet treats are on the way! Please allow a minimum of 1-2 business days for processing time in addition to transit time.

RETURNS 

What is your return policy? 

At Dylan’s Candy Bar, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase.
Given the perishable nature of most of our products, all edible items are final sale and nonrefundable. However, nonedible items are returnable to the original payment method if they meet all of the following criteria: 

  • Items are returned within 30 days of purchase 
  • Return is accompanied with an original receipt 
  • Item is in original packaging & has tags attached 

Our Customer Service Team is available to assist with any questions or concerns you may have about the quality of your treats. They are available by phone (866.939.5267) 9am-5pm EST Monday through Friday or by email (CustomerService@DylansCandyBar.com). All inquiries must be made within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Are all of your products available online?

Our sweet selection of items varies between our online and retail stores, but we consistently rotate our products. If you're looking for a specific item that's not available online, please reach out to our Live Chat on DylansCandyBar.com Monday through Friday during our business hours (9am-5pm EST) or email us at CustomerService@DylansCandyBar.com. Are items on sale on DylansCandyBar.com also on sale in stores?

No. Not all sales shown online are on sale in stores, and our Flagship stores’ sales differ from markdowns in both our licensed retail and airport stores. For specific inventory questions, please contact your local store for more information.

If I’m gifting my order of sweet treats, will prices be included on the packing slip? 

You can rest assured that the packing slips we place in our shipments do not state pricing or credit card information. Our general packing slips include the order number, items ordered, shipping address, and gift message when applicable.

Can I purchase a gift card online?

We're so happy you want to sweeten someone's life with a Dylan's Candy Bar gift card! We currently offer E-Gift Cards and Physical Gift Cards that are able to be redeemed both in-store and online.

Our Physical Gift Cards can be purchased in-store and are now available online! Learn more about our gift cards & check your Gift Card balance here!

Do you offer candy for specific dietary restrictions?

Yes! We have a wide variety of sweet treats that are suitable for specific dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free, sugar-free, vegan, kosher, & more. For those with nut allergies, please note that unless stated, our products are not made in a dedicated nut-free facility.

Do you sell kosher candy?

Yes! We offer a wide variety of treats that have been manufactured in kosher-certified factories.

Where can I find a product’s allergen information?

Allergen information and ingredients can be found on our product labels and most of our webpages. Please note that many of our treats are manufactured in facilities that also process products with common allergens. What is Prop65?

Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity.

Can you make a donation to my charity or event?

While we’d love to honor all donation requests, we receive more requests than we can accommodate. As a result, we are not currently accepting solicitations for donations. We wish you the best with your fundraising efforts!
