HOW WE’RE HELPING TO SAVE THE ANIMALS

Everyone knows how much Dylan loves candy, but she’s equally as passionate about helping all animals find a home-sweet-home! Recently, Dylan’s Candy BarN partnered with Best Friends Animal Society, a leading national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters, to host an ice cream social and a tour of the Best Friends New York Pet Adoption Center.

The family-friendly event began at Dylan’s Candy Bar Union Square where 50 passionate animal (and candy) lovers enjoyed sweet treats, such as ice cream and cotton candy, and then proceeded to the Best Friends New York Adoption Center in SoHo for a grand tour of the new facility. Guests were able to meet and greet adoptable dogs and cats, learn more about the goals and programming of both organizations and mingle among other animal-friendly guests and Dylan Lauren, herself. All proceeds from the event went to Best Friends Animal Society.

Dylan Lauren created the nonprofit organization Dylan’s Candy BarN to help every animal find a home-sweet-home by hosting adoption events, highlighting the importance of spay/neuter in preventing overpopulation and euthanasia, sponsoring and granting funds to animal rescue programs, and aiding animal-welfare organizations in ending animal cruelty.
